Our premium 16mm PE-RT/Aluminium/PE-RT (PERT-AL-PERT) pipe is manufactured to ISO 9001 quality management standards and designed to deliver reliable, high-performance operation in warm-water underfloor heating systems.

Featuring a five-layer composite construction, the pipe combines the flexibility of plastic with the strength and protective properties of aluminium, making it an excellent choice for underfloor heating installations.

The integrated aluminium core provides structural strength and acts as an oxygen barrier, helping to prevent oxygen ingress and reduce the risk of corrosion to system components, including the manifold. It also gives the pipe excellent form stability, minimising spring-back and allowing it to retain its shape after bending for easier, more precise installation.

PERT-AL-PERT vs EVOH PE-RT Pipe

PERT-AL-PERT pipe features an aluminium core, making it form-stable and suitable for applications such as underfloor heating and, where appropriately certified, potable water systems. In comparison, EVOH PE-RT pipe uses an oxygen-barrier layer without a metal core. This construction makes it more flexible and easier to bend, potentially reducing physical effort during installation on larger projects.

1. Five-layer composite construction: PE-RT inner and outer layers combined with adhesive bonding layers and a 0.25mm-thick, edge-welded aluminium core.

2. Butt-welded aluminium layer: Manufactured using a butt-welding process to create a continuous aluminium core.

3. Excellent form stability: Can be bent by hand and retains its shape, helping to simplify underfloor heating pipework installation.

4. High-temperature performance: Maximum sustained operating temperature of up to 70°C and maximum transient temperature of up to 85°C, subject to the manufacturer's specifications and operating conditions.
